Cradle Forest Inn - Moina

We stayed for a weekend getaway to explore Cradle Mountain, and our cabin exceeded expectations. The accommodations were cozy, impeccably clean, and well-insulated, ensuring a peaceful retreat. Being surrounded by nature made our stay even more enjoyable. The nearby café provided delicious local fare, and the overall ambiance was relaxing, perfect for unwinding after a day of hiking.

We stayed for a few nights while exploring the stunning Cradle Mountain area, and our experience was good. The cozy accommodations featured a kitchenette and a comfortable lounge, perfect after a day of hiking. The gorgeous bed kept us warm during the chilly winter nights, and we appreciated the convenient parking right outside our room. The hosts provided an excellent guide to local attractions, which made planning our adventures a breeze.

Had perfect 10/10 stay in winter and the weather was pleasant. The food was reasonably priced with a good choice of choice! The hotel was in a magnificent location very close to the nearest ATM, supermarket or other restaurants, the cafe and Cradle Mountain.

Cradle Forest Inn is nestled in beautiful bushland just 25kms from Cradle Mountain Park, making it a serene spot for families. While there’s no Wi-Fi and the suite requires self-catering, the cozy ambiance, comfortable bed, and hot shower added to our relaxation. We enjoyed the nearby Bridal Veil Falls, just a short walk away, which enhanced our family bonding experience, despite some cleanliness issues we faced.

The location sorry to see the Tavern had burnt down was great. Besides, it was close enough to a decent restaurant attached and Cradle Mountain and Mole Creek Caves and the nearest ATM, supermarket or other restaurants. The rooms were delightful and luxurious with lovely views over the garden towards the mountains.

The room we had included central heating, multi-channel TV and a microwave oven. The employees were pleasant and understanding. Its favourable, secluded location was a plus;))

The cleanliness of the space was perfect, and I appreciated that it was well-equipped, making my time there feel cozy and warm. The amenities offered a touch of convenience that enhanced my experience.

I did notice that the room was a little cold upon arrival, suggesting that the heating could use a slight improvement. This minor quibble didn't overshadow my pleasant stay but would enhance future visits significantly.

Charming little cottage close to Cradle Mountain! The bed was comfy, and the shower had great pressure. It felt cozy despite the lack of Wi-Fi and some mismatched crockery. Just a heads-up: an old sofa and unexpected nighttime noises made for a restless night. A good stay!

No cooking options available!!! Bring plenty of bottled water for your stay, as you need to boil tap water before drinking it!!! A more detailed notice on water quality would enhance the experience!!!

The location is ideal for exploring the natural beauty of Northern Tasmania. Waking up to see Pademelons just outside our deck was a good experience. The atmosphere felt cute, and we really appreciated the proximity to the Blue Tree Gallery, where we enjoyed both the best coffee and engaging conversations with the talented local artist. The garden view brought tranquility.

The room furnishings, particularly the settee, were a bit worn and could use an upgrade for added comfort.

The Beautiful Suite was spacious and had a kitchenette, made it easy to whip up meals. I loved the private bathroom with complimentary toiletries, and the comfy seating area was perfect. The spa bath was a good bonus, and the view from the window was fine. A cozy and peaceful spot to rest up before heading to Cradle Mountain.
